Sadly Roy Disney has passed away from cancer at the age of 79. Roy was Walt’s nephew- but I always felt resemblance was amazing.

I am not gonna lie. I wasn’t planning on loving this event.
I wanted to go as an ‘observer’. I wore my imaginary reporter hat, bundled up for a cold evening outside and off I went.
Within just minutes of it beginning I knew this was something special and for lack of a better word it was downright…..magical. The choir performers were so wonderful (and SO MANY) and the soloists were top knotch talent. It was the kind of program that made you want to hug the stranger next you…just because you were feeling all GOOD inside. And of course this year there was actor, Jon Voit narrating the story of Christmas. The best part? At the end when Mr. Voit went off script, teared up a little and talked about his mother who has passed. He was also deeply moved by being apart of the production. I love that Disney allows this service to happen. And I assure you, I will not miss it next year. Hope to see you there.

I was invited by Disney to attend this event. Which is a pretty cool thing and I appreciate it…
Have you seen the new OC & ME web series? No? Here are the first 3 episodes, which all take place in Disneyland! Topics include ‘Decorating Disney’, new merchandising for the holiday season and the latest and greatest musical show.
I am thrilled I am able to enjoy the holiday season with Disneyland.
It is really is just as over the top, larger than life MAGICAL fun as it looks!
And how cute is that Minnie?
Love that girl.
Oh and I have been asked to let you all know that I was invited by Disney to participate in this interview opportunity. However, I was not paid or compensated to do so…I did it cuz I heart Disneyland. But you already knew that right?
Carry on.
