The Holiday-est Place on Earth!

Oh man. The holidays ARE HERE. And there is no better place to get in the spirit than at Disneyland.

Sure there is the tree. All 60 feet of it. But you would expect that. What I really love are all the other millions of changes all over the park that you might not expect. Every store window, every nook and cranny...EVERYTHING seems to be 'Holiday-fied' and it makes it beautiful. Not only is it the happiest place on earth, but is it the HOLIDAYiest place too.

Some personal favorites:

* The 'cuppy cake' castle! Doesn't that snow on top look good enough to lick? It is lovely and befitting a princess.

*Special Holiday Treats: this year the big winner is the gingerbread beignets at New Orleans Cafe. (beignets are like cinnamony doughnuty bits of goodness)

*Attire: Sure a cute Mickey hat with a Holiday theme is cute, but this year I see they have plaid patchwork scarves and pajamas's too. I want all of them.

*Shopping: The best holiday gifts for your Disney fan friends are found in the park. Silhouettes of the kids, custom created artisan watch faces and embroidered products of all kinds available in the stores on Main Street. I personally buy stuff every year from the magic shop for my boys, er I mean SANTA buys.

*Santa! Oh he is awesome. In his own cozy barn right next to his herd of LIVE reindeer.

*It's a Small World. From the outside in...it is all changed for the holidays and it is splendid. And when you are inside and you think you smell pine trees and peppermint candy? YOU ARE. Smells are injected into the ride at the holidays!

Remember to check the Disney site before your visit for Santa's hours (and park hours) during the holiday season. See you at the park!
