Just happy to be there.
Nope this isn’t me. This is Jennifer Newcomer Claytor visiting Disneyland as a child. And I saw these and they made me smile.
And I thought they might make you smile too.
(do you have some vintage photos from Disneyland? email me.)

Did you already know? (watch vid for Disney trivia)
Well this is cool.
One of my recent videos I filmed at Disneyland about Halloween, is on Inside The Magic today. It is a huge honor for me!. Inside The Magic is one of the largest Disney websites on the net. It has a heavy focus on Walt Disney World, but they also cover some Disneyland stuff too….and that is where I fit in to the picture. I would love it if you could go watch and see what you think. This first video is cool because the guy I was interviewing gave me a piece of NEW trivia about the hearse outside the Haunted Mansion. Hard to believe there is any new ‘secrets’ left to discover…

Behind the scenes of video making at Disneyland.
If you have read The Glamorous Life Association for the last few years you know already that Halloween is by far my favorite holiday. It’s like the whole world enters a theater class for a day…and I adore that. And my favorite thing to do for the last few years is to take part in some behind the scenes/press video filming in the park. This year it was particularly special since one of my segments was done INSIDE the Haunted Mansion. It was an honor. And yes, very creepy. While i was there I ran into Jack and Sally who were just putting some finishing touches on the place. I did for ‘stand-ups’ this day, covering decor, Halloween crafts, the costume rules when coming to the park and more. Even got some very interesting trivia about the hearse at the front of the mansion.
Videos will be coming soon. They are ‘in editing’ for the next few days…Meanwhile I wanted to share these photos with you.
Can you see how happy I am?
This is my happy happy place. Performing. In front a of a camera. Oh how I love it.
{what you don’t see in these shots are all the park goers who are standing at a rope line around the filming area watching. They are watching going ‘um, who is that chick? And why is she doing interviews?’ I heard one of them say ‘oh it’s just a blogger’. Silly tourists. Don’t they know we are taking over the world?}
Later in the evening I returned to check out the HalloweenTime party being held at Disneyland this year. And I was just enthralled with the changes made to the park. Great music everywhere, and fog machines all over the park with great lighting projections. Oh and DANCE clubs that were really, well….like real DANCE CLUBS. I know, I know…it is expensive…but man it was neat to see the park like this. And the costumes people wear! WOW total commitment to the season. So consider adding it to your holiday plans.
